By creating an account or using Ascend, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Ascend. If you are under 18, you may use Ascend only with the permission of a parent or guardian.

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity that happens on your account. Let us know if you believe your account has been compromised.

Everything you write in Ascend — journal entries, notes, habit names, goals and progress values — is yours. You are responsible for that content and for making sure it does not violate any law or anyone else’s rights. Do not use Ascend to store unlawful content.

Ascend provides habit-tracking tools. It does not provide medical, psychological, nutritional or other professional advice, diagnosis or treatment. Scores, streaks and insights are informational only and are not a substitute for professional judgement.

Always consult a qualified professional about your health, and never disregard professional advice because of something you read in Ascend.

We may add, change or remove features, and we may suspend or discontinue the app. We aim to keep Ascend available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

Ascend is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or that your data will never be lost.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or goodwill, arising out of your use of Ascend.

You may stop using Ascend at any time and delete your account in Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

If these terms change, the “last updated” date at the top of this page will change with it. Continued use of Ascend after an update means you accept the revised terms.
